Lokasamgraha is a well-known idea from the Bhagavad-Gita, India’s holy book. This is one of India’s fundamental social and ethical concepts, which involves performing one’s actions not just for oneself but also for others in a selfless manner or through Nishkama karma. It is the ideal of fulfilling duties for the purpose of bringing people together and promoting humanity’s well-being, social integration, and peaceful society. In the Bhagavad-Gita, Shree Krishna teaches Arjuna about Lokasamgraha, which he uses to pursue him and force him to fight the Holy War “Kuruksetra” as his Svadharma. Lokasamgraha is referred to in the Vedic worldview as Vasudhaiva Kutumvakam, which translates as “the entire world and its beings are connected.” Lokasamgraha is very desirable for moral and socially responsible living, which is why it retains importance in contemporary life and society.
